THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hunan Chinatown Restaurant Review:

This is a long-standing Chinatown institution, slightly worn but still attractive. Its dependable menu has a mix of Hunan and Szechuan dishes, but our favorites have always been the parchment prawns and quite good orange beef. Look for other classics such as pan-fried dumplings, boiled dumplings in spicy peanut sauce, tea-smoked duck, spicy eggplant and crispy whole fish. It may be crowded after MCI Center events or when conventions are in town, so you may want to reserve a table if you have a group of four or more people.
