Hyde Street Seafood House & Raw Bar Restaurant Review:

The specialty at this San Francisco old-timer is fish baked en papillote, but an ever-shifting menu keeps things interesting. Many diners choose to simply enjoy oysters from nearby Point Reyes (or farther afield) at the raw bar. The interior is decked out to mirror a ship's cabin --- nautical maps line the walls and guests sit on wood-plank benches. A daily happy hour keeps the smiles afloat. The only thing that sometimes dampens the experience is the service, which can be rather brusque and perfunctory.
