Iccho Restaurant Review:

This approachable izakaya offers a modestly priced menu listing more than 200 items. A sushi bar is available to guests seeking a lighter bite, but it’s the creative Japanese small plates that shine. Slow-roasted pork char siu is made with tender Kurobuta pork, while the cheese oysters present a spin on oysters Rockefeller with a mound of melted cheese offsetting the salty brine. Crispy soft shell crabs are served with a spicy red-chili paste, and the pan-fried pork loin is flattened and breaded like schnitzel, though this version is paired with a dark-brown curry, creating a more comforting dish. Udon noodle bowls and fried rice are part of the line-up, too. For dessert, try the black sesame ice cream, both savory and sweet. Few wines are available, so we recommend ordering cold saké or a dry beer to pair with the food.
