The Ice Cream Bar Restaurant Review:

Whether you're drawn in for the childish pleasures of massive, old-fashioned banana splits, sundaes or floats, or seek one of the grown-up beer- and alcohol-added ice cream "remedies," you'll want to partake in the fun of this blast-from-the-past retro scoop shop and lunch counter. Virtually everything, from the root beer to the candies behind the counter, is made in house. Ice cream flavors run from classic to creative. You can build your own soda across 24 flavors from anise to wintergreen, and then turn it into a float if you'd like. Lunch counter favorites such as grilled cheese or egg salad are served thick and hearty on house-made brioche, and there are beer and wine as well.
