Il Campari Centro Restaurant Review:
While Little Italy near Jean-Talon is where you'll hear Italian spoken on the street, Il Campari is a romantic downtown alternative. The airy terrace tempts in the summer while inside the stained glass and plush décor create a refined atmosphere. The northern Italian cuisine includes antipasti such as calamari, marinated salmon and sun-dried tomatoes and beef carpaccio. Delicately seasoned veal scaloppine is a specialty; other main courses are rack of lamb, veal chops, filet mignon and scampi. To end, there are fresh fruits, cheeses, house-made gelati or tiramisu. The short wine list is carefully chosen to complement the fare.
