Island Taco Restaurant Review:

Island Taco’s menu doesn’t look extensive, but when you factor in all the options --- five kinds of meat, pick your tortilla and mix and match your tacos for a mini combo --- you have lots of decisions to make. Unlike many Mexican restaurants, the chips and salsa are à la carte, but the homemade salsas at the bar are worth the cost. And for just about $2, add the creamy guacamole to whatever you’re having. There are plenty of vegetarian selections, including a satisfying black bean and marinated tofu burrito. The enchilada plate, with a choice of two enchiladas, rice and beans, is enough for two or three people. Add an ice-cold beer and kick back on the patio for a mini-vacation.
