Jerusalem Restaurant & Catering Restaurant Review:
As the restaurant’s name promises, its menu features staples from the Holy Land, especially all the dishes that visitors, pilgrims and residents alike treasure: puffy and hot loaves of pita piled in a basket, baba ghanouj, falafel and creamy hummus introduce a list of typical selections. These include tabbouleh salads, stuffed grape leaves and lentil soup as second courses before moving on to the classics of chicken or beef shwarma sandwiches, or heartier entrées of chicken tajeen, kafta kebabs and grilled salmon with rice plus much more. For folks with a sweet tooth, the dessert display offers trays of honey-sparked delicacies way beyond baklawa, such as warbat and basbousa pastries. Many beverages also reflect Israel’s food, including jallab (date molasses) and Arabic coffee.
