THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jimmy's Italian Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

Jimmy’s Italian Steakhouse is one of many Jimmy’s restaurants sprinkled like shards of Parm around Rhode Island. It’s a boisterous place where families and other large, ravenous groups come to have the steakhouse experience at neighborhood trattoria prices. Talk about filling a void. Jimmy’s feels absurdly abundant---as steakhouses should. Imola bruschetta is loaded with cream, prosciutto, peas and roasted peppers. Calamari comes three ways---with pepper rings and marinara, with tomato sauce, or with spinach in a spicy garlic and wine-butter sauce. Lamb steak is redolent of rosemary, if a bit sweet thanks to red wine marination. Nothing---even the 20 oz. rib eye---tops $20. Still, don’t expect the same flavor as one would get from the house-aged steaks at Morton’s, or crystal-glass elegance. But that’s not the point, is it?
