Three stories high, all brick, and pretty darn snazzy, inside and out, this new addition to Magnificent Mile dining options is actually two restaurants in one. First floor is the Express Café and Bar: sandwiches, salads, pizza and burgers. Upper two floors house The Grille: gracious sit-down family dining that’s abbondanza brought to a higher (and tastier) level than you could ever imagine. All the Italian favorites in portions that are meant for sharing (read huge) along with both thin-crust and deep-dish pizza to die for. The choices are endless, but we love the deep-fried calamari and the 8-finger cavatelli. In warm weather, dine al fresco on the rooftop with a city view.
