Juan's Flying Burrito Restaurant Review:

If it’s too noisy for you at the Juan’s Flying Burrito on Magazine Street, then this toned-down Carrollton Avenue location may be more suitable. Even the interior is a small step up from the former’s outpost, with booths lining the walls, a wraparound bar, and an open kitchen that is as entertaining as it is aromatic. The menu includes two-meal burritos made with jerk chicken or pulled pork or a vegetarian version with grilled vegetables. Fish tacos are composed of crunchy blue corn tortillas and mahi mahi, and platters of nachos come piled with toppings. And the Creole part? Try the Juana roll, a Mexi-roll with grilled Creole chicken, cream cheese, sliced avocado, and jack and cheddar cheeses. It’s safe to say the quesadillas are among the best in New Orleans. Don’t expect too much for dessert; if you’re lucky, there may be a plate of cupcakes or oversize cookies available. This is also the place to go for industrial strength margaritas. Also located at 2018 Magazine St., Garden District, 504-569-0000.
