Just Restaurant Restaurant Review:
The menu is engaging and food artfully prepared at this surprisingly high concept restaurant tucked behind a gas station along busy U.S. 9 South. Manners are all “Big City” sophistication, but patrons are quiet suburbanites who may not want to dress up for dinner, and they need not --- casual is the byword here. However, don’t be fooled. The order might be for “just sliders,” but the preparation will be quite complex, made with Wagyu beef, foie gras and caramelized shallots and served on brioche. Salads include such rarely seen combos as Tuscan kale and date with shaved Parmesan, slivered almonds and honey-lemon vinaigrette. Desserts are whimsical, such as s’mores crème brûlée and old-fashioned donuts arranged in a miniature shopping basket. The wine list is well chosen and reasonably priced.
