Kabob Land Restaurant Review:
Sporting a surprisingly formal motif for a mini-mall restaurant with a decidedly casual name, this diminutive dining room is filled with tables dressed in green linen, mirrors in gilded frames and a huge painting of the Arc de Triomphe. The kabobs (chicken, beef, barbecued salmon, lamb chops) are typically robustly seasoned and generously portioned. In addition to Lebanese and Armenian specialties, the presence of stalishni salad and barbecued sturgeon reflect a Russian influence. Amateurish service and the absence of desserts detract from an otherwise intriguing dining experience.
