Kahili Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Located on the grounds of the Kahili Golf Course, this casual spot offers lunch with a striking view of the Central Maui valley and Haleakala. Not far from the Wailuku business district, the restaurant attracts a business clientele as well as golfers looking for tasty fare. The large menu offers sandwiches, salads, local-style entrées and chef-recommended specialties. Standouts include the French dip sandwich, and the crab salad croissant sandwich packed with creamy blue crab and alfalfa sprouts. The Japanese-style Asian chicken curry with carrots and potatoes is big enough for two. The Chef's special of seared beef poke---cubes of beef nicely seared and served with chopped onions, tomatoes and scallions---is also filling. For something a tad lighter, try the cashew chicken, tossed with vegetables and ramen noodles. This is a good after-work spot, with a special pu pu menu and cocktails for those looking to unwind. For the best view, sit outside on the lanai, but watch out for the flies. Inside is fine for lunch and business meetings.
