Kaos Pizzeria Restaurant Review:

During the extended daily happy hour at this pizzeria in Platt Park, imbibers linger for hours in the gardens aromatic with budding botanicals and fresh herbs, all of which provide a lush backdrop for the pizzas that emerge from the wood-fired ovens. Our favorites include the prosciutto, pesto and wild mushroom pie sheeted with Fontina and fresh mozzarella, as well as the Smokestack paved with San Marzano tomatoes and topped with bacon, fire-roasted poblano chiles and blots of goat cheese. Fresh salads, garlic bread, fresh pastas (we suggest the linguine with clams) and panini round out the menu. The beer list, which leans toward Colorado craft brews, is first-rate, and so is the eccentric, small-production wine scroll that offers nearly forty pours by the glass, with prices beginning at a mere $5.
