About the restaurant: At Kazan in Beverly Hills, chef-owner Ryu Isobe focuses on homemade Japanese-style soba noodles.
Food: For starters, you’ll find teriyaki chicken leg, fried shishito peppers, crispy wontons and shrimp tempura. Move on to one of the several soba specialties, such as the #1, made with Kazan’s original "Shina Soba" thin noodles in a clear, soy-based broth with truffle seasoning, plus chashu pork, white scallions, green onions and homemade wontons.
