La Cocina de Luz Restaurant Review:
The menu at this all-day favorite features regional Mexican dishes that combine traditional and health-conscious influences. Handmade tortillas, flavorful salsas and 12 varieties of chilies star in classics like enchiladas and burritos as well as vegan-friendly alternatives. The same goes for breakfast, when chilaquiles or huevos con machaca brighten the morning paired with fresh juice blends. For dessert, there’s house-made ice cream, and there’s also a full bar for those who appreciate the role margaritas play in a balanced diet. The restaurant's name means "The Kitchen of Light" in Spanish and is the creation of local food lover Lucas Price, who wanted to offer the neighborhood something healthy and flavorful. The neighbors are grateful, and you will be too.
