THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Fendi Restaurant Review:

The soft pastels color scheme, etched brass vases, folk baskets and paintings by co-proprietor Tony Samona lends a somewhat garden feel. The menu offers an extensive list of such staples as hummus, tabbouleh and baba ghanouj much like Lebanese restaurants. Many other dishes, however, are not at all interchangeable with Lebanese. Iraqi style cooking involves a higher spice level and more meat, and the fare has some influences from Turkey and India. Recommended dishes include baked whitefish curry, biriani, rice with eggs, meatballs, chicken, potatoes and roasted baby lamb shanks and stuffed baby eggplant. Combination platters offer a quick cross-section of the menu.
