At this attractive, unpretentious restaurant in downtown Los Altos, you can enjoy traditional Italian dishes such as veal scaloppine, Venetian fish stew and chicken Marsala. Start with bruschetta or mozzarella alla caprese; then, if you're feeling particularly Italian, order a pasta dish like linguine alla puttanesca before progressing to your main course. Lighter eaters can easily make a meal out of the pasta alone. Portions are ample. The short wine list offers Italian and California reds, none of them very expensive.
