Luca Benasciutti, the convivial boss of this trattoria, fills the residents of this beautiful avenue in the 9th arrondissement with ease and satisfaction. His pizzaïolo, Vittorio, shapes up delicious pizzas with thin crispy crusts that are also available for takeout. Here the pizzas come in three different types: classical, basil-flavored and whole wheat---you'll want to taste them all. Chef Ricardo Podda regales his clients in his own way, with dishes such as Venetian veal liver with potato purée and rosemary; Sole fillet served with eggplants and lemon; and ricotta di bufala with blackberry coulis. At La Pizzetta, the quality and the prices are a very good match. When the sun comes in, the terrace is literally stormed by patrons. One piece of advice: make a reservation!
