THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Rue Brasserie & Bistro Restaurant Review:
In this sleepy bungalow, chef Michel Adams artfully prepares hearty bistro favorites with the flare of a true Frenchman. Rich cassoulet, served in an oval crock, comes loaded with duck confit and earthy sausage. French onion soup bubbles with onion-y goodness under a cap of melted cheese. But most importantly, the golden fries are crisp as can be and served with a trio of aïoli, basil mayonnaise and rouille. Attentive servers reflect the devotion to a satisfied clientele that emanates from the kitchen. The quirky atmosphere may be the only lagging component.
