La Terrazza Restaurant Review:

Formerly Tomaso's Ristorante, La Terrazza has a different management team but the same chef who favors classic Italian cuisine. The bird's eye views of quaint Coronado's village --- like downtown and of the historic Hotel Del Coronado --- are among the visual treats at this attractive second-floor restaurant. The extensive menu offers traditional dishes such as rigatoni with grilled chicken, and escargot alla Fiorentina. Steak and seafood creations include New York steak with a Cognac, shallot, demi-glace citrus sauce, and broiled king salmon filet with a white wine sauce. The grand shellfish platter combines scallops, shrimp, clams, crab and salmon served over linguine.
