Lahaina Coolers Restaurant Review:
This affordable open-air bistro offers imaginative food and is a popular late-night hangout for local service industry workers. It’s a good place for breakfast (away from the hassle of Front Street), offering everything from the Surfer’s Special of eggs, cheese, Portuguese sausage and upcountry veggies wrapped in a tortilla to Molokai sweet-bread french toast. There's also a don't-miss Champagne mimosa. Lunch brings a tasty soba noodle and tofu salad, kalua pork tacos and a variety of decadent burgers of all-natural Maui beef or the veggie Boca option. For dinner, get a seat on the patio and try the evil jungle pasta of grilled chicken and spicy Thai peanut sauce or the pizza for a late-night snack.
