THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Laszlo's Cuisine Hortobagy Restaurant Review:
This charming dining room, with its white linened-tables and lace curtains, offers reliably good, modestly priced home-style Hungarian cooking. If you are a serious carnivore, the wooden platter is a must: a big board for two or three piled high with spicy pork sausages, breaded slabs of veal and liver, potato salad, marinated red cabbage and a hillock of rice. The thick goulash topped with sour cream is worth a try, and the chilled cherry soup, a signature appetizer, is sweet enough to be offered as dessert, along with the freshly baked strudel.
