Le Ciel Crepe Cafe Restaurant Review:
This tucked-away spot is worth frequenting not only for its crêpes, but also for its sandwiches and salads. Though the daily menu has a lot of tried-and-true favorites, specials that have tempted us include the shrimp and crab crêpe, a pulled pork panino with enchilada sauce, and house-made sweet potato soup. Crêpes on the regular menu all sport names of local landmarks, and those on our map include the El Chorro with smoked salmon, topped with a creamy dill sauce; the Hollister Peak with spinach and kalamata olives; and the Poly Canyon with roast beef, caramelized onions and Gorgonzola (side this one with the roasted rosemary baby red potatoes). For dessert, go for the delicate Avila Bay, with lemon cream and lemon zest. Fresh lemonade is a winner on hot summer days.
