Le Polidor Restaurant Review:

Le Polidor is one of those places that's almost always packed, with both locals and visitors. It's no wonder, considering its wide offering of quick but complete meals, inexpensive wine and simple but reasonably comfortable surroundings. For starters, folks tuck into bowls of creamy lentil soup, or servings of a dozen escargots. Dishes include items like rognons in Madera sauce, entrecôte, blanquette de veau, chicken fricassée and crispy duck confit. This is far from haute cuisine (even far from exceptional bistro cooking) and you may feel a bit rushed, but Le Polidor is certainly a good value---no wonder it has been around for more than 150 years!
