Le Sans Souci Restaurant Review:
Longtime restaurateur Louis Germaine has built an institution in Cave Creek that is well worth the drive, thanks to the endearingly old-fashioned atmosphere and classic French food. As one of the Valley’s best kept secrets, Le Sans Souci is a charming restaurant that takes one back in time to a more gentle style of dining. The menu includes escargots à la bourguignonne, coquilles St-Jacques, steak marchand du vin (prepared tableside), and sautéed sweetbreads with artichokes and mushrooms in Madeira sauce. There's also fresh brook trout sautéed in lemon butter, frogs’ legs with garlic butter, coq au vin and, of course, a dessert tray of pretty French pastries.
