The Lift Grill & Lounge Restaurant Review:
Banish all of your childhood memories of stereotypical bowling alley food like greasy burgers and microwave pizza, because The Lift Grill & Lounge inside Jupiter Bowl elevates the genre and offers variety at the same time. This Kimball Junction social spot often has an hour wait for a lane, but that's perfect timing if you want to sit down for a quiet (or not so quiet) dinner. The restaurant itself is insulated from the alley buzz and styled in rich wood tones and mustard colors. But if you prefer a "scene," eat at one of the tables near the 12 lanes. The portions are large enough to provide ample energy for those strikes you’ll attempt later on. Pick a starter from the eclectic list of appetizers: brisket quesadilla, pulled pork sliders or beer- and vodka-battered green beans anyone? Kids will like the chick n' mac, but the moist morsels in crispy coating atop macaroni and white cheddar sauce dusted with scallions and jalapeños is a hit with adults as well. You'll have difficulty choosing between the warm double chocolate brown sugar brownie sundae and the bourbon bread pudding for dessert, so perhaps you should order both.
