Lobsta Truck Restaurant Review:
With white lobsters painted across its small truck fleet's ketchup-red flanks and proffering crunchy, juicy lobster and crab rolls, the Lobsta Truck first amassed a cult following in Los Angeles before expanding its range northward. Meant to be eaten with bare hands, this version of the New England comfort food staple comprises local Dungeness crab and North Atlantic lobster (flown in daily from Boston), drenched with drawn butter or seasoned mayonnaise and stuffed into a traditional toasted split-top roll. Clam chowder, lobster bisque and soft chocolate whoopie pies round out the Eastern Seaboard milieu. Proprietor Justin Mi is a seafood-industry veteran who fell in love with lobster rolls while visiting family in Maine.
