An Loi Restaurant Review:
An Loi's interior is spiffy and welcoming, with handsome wainscoting and soft tones of green. The small but lively menu centers on brothy, whole-meal soups, including 12 styles of pho, the beef noodle soup that is the national dish of Vietnam. In classic style, these brimming bowls are served with heaps of crisp bean sprouts, pungent Thai basil, and fiery sliced jalapeño chilies to add at your whim. An Loi also has a number of regional soups, stir-fries, vermicelli dishes and rice plates, as well as appetizers like marinated beef wrapped in grape leaves, served hot from the grill. If you want something stronger than Vietnamese bubble tea, gone is the need to BYOB; beer and wine are served.
