About the restaurant: Located on the west end of the vintage shops and bars that make up Long Beach's cool Retro Row neighborhood, the restaurant has a tightly packed interior that gives way to a large patio. It's an ideal setting for kicking back with a house-made mojito or a handcrafted cocktail.

Food & Drinks: Start your meal with roasted, bacon-wrapped jalapeños or a refreshing ceviche loaded with scallops and shrimp. Choose from enchiladas, tacos and burritos, but we prefer the house specialties, like the birria Guadalajara, a traditional goat dish that substitutes a mix of tender pork and veal as the main proteins, as the family recipe it derives from dictates. Also look for specialties like pepita-encrusted pan-fried local fish, chile relleno and chicken mole verde bowl. Be sure to save room for dessert, as the oven-baked, caramel-topped flan is worth the indulgence.
