LongHorn Steakhouse of Towne Center Restaurant Review:
“Bunkhouse Chic” describes the décor, favoring decorative cowboy boots, longhorn cattle heads, and similar icons of the Western aesthetic. The Caesar salad, although a bit over-chilled, is a good starter. Steaks come cooked as ordered, and only the flatiron is marinated to boost flavor. A choice sirloin is offered in several sizes: eight ounces goes for just $13.99 at dinner, with two sides. A tableside-prepared steak sauce can add another layer of flavor, and there’s an optional red pepper element for some kick; we also like the good sautéed onions, a serving that’s ample for four persons. Salmon and several chicken dishes are available; baby-back ribs are oven-cooked, so they're not for true 'cue fans. The wine list is basic, but the Genesis Meritage from Hogue Cellars is a decent selection by the glass. Molten lava chocolate cake is among the desserts. Other locations.
