Lotus Garden Restaurant Review:
Small but popular, this Chinese eatery in Vienna offers a full range of familiar dishes, from fried rice and lo mein to General Tso’s chicken and Hunan jumbo shrimp. The kitchen also turns out hand-pulled noodles, a hallmark of traditional cooking. We recommend starting with the spring rolls and fried wonton, but other options include spiced beef tripe and fried chicken wings. Entrée choices are extensive, and to get the most out of the experience, come with friends; that way, chicken, shrimp, beef and pork mains plus any or many of the noodle specialties can be ordered. And why not a chef’s special, such as the sweet-and-sour ribs, Hong Kong style? What you will not find on the menu are any Westernized desserts, but after splurging on course after course, plus steamed white rice, you won’t crave any.
