The refurbished restaurant has undergone both a décor and a menu upgrade. Inside, stylish pistachio green walls marry nicely with the thick dark wood bar and stools that mark the entrance and overlook the open kitchen. The beautiful outdoor patio is as romantic as ever, now offering more room for revelers under the heat lamps. A bountiful Cal-Med menu will surely satisfy with its homey dishes elevated by some inventive thinking. Flatbread topped with prosciutto, fennel and chives or calamari fritto misto are perfect appetizers for sharing while the pear, Gorgonzola and almond bruschetta, or carrot and ginger soup are equally delicious but more easily eaten by one. Entrées are built for hearty appetites. Try the forever braised beef brisket or the Moroccan lamb shank paired with gingered tomato confit and preserved lemon couscous.
