Mabel's Lobster Claw Restaurant Review:
Most people come to Mabel's for the fresh seafood – it has served up lobster since the 1950s. While you can find the familiar lobster roll, chowder and fried clams, the menu goes far beyond casual shore fare to include plenty of pasta dishes, surf ‘n’ turf, fried chicken and filet mignon. The Shore Dinner offers up a traditional Maine feast featuring New England clam chowder, native steamed clams, and a Maine lobster. Yet if you want to be adventurous, go for the Lobster Savanna, stuffed with scallops and shrimp in a creamy Newburg sauce, topped with provolone. For dessert, try the classic blueberry or raspberry pie, made fresh in the kitchen and topped with vanilla ice cream. You can enjoy outdoor dining and even order takeout at the window. A full bar is available, too.
