David’s Mai Lai Wah Restaurant Review:
You're apt to find some of Philly's top toques feasting after hours at this comfortable Chinatown eatery, where the food is fresh and seafood is a specialty. David’s Mai Lai Wah offers the standard dishes, but its seafood bird’s nest, of lobster, shrimp, scallops and vegetables, is a big seller. Or try the steamed sole with black bean sauce or another house special, roast pork, chicken and shrimp over boneless crispy duck. Classics such as moo goo gai pan and chicken chow mein fun are done as well. Check with management for free or discounted parking.
