Locals are drawn to this place because it's convenient both from land and water (as a resort with a marina, diners can motor right up to the dock and moor) and the all-you-can-eat seafood buffets on Fridays and Saturdays include crab legs and peel-and-eat shrimp as well as prime rib and a pasta station. In fact, there's a buffet every night. The view, from the right table, is all the way to the St. Petersburg skyline and its tilted, domed pro-baseball park. The Key West-style décor is fitting, giving the venue an airy sense of the outdoors. Appetizers include breaded jumbo shrimp and chicken in a pastry pocket, served with spinach and artichoke dip. Conch fritters are also worth trying. The restaurant's mesquite grill makes a number of contributions to the entrées---grouper, salmon filet, New York strip, beef tenderloin and filet mignon. Look for live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
