Executive chef D. Brandon Walker, chef Jill Davie (Josie) and Jorge Rivas are behind neighborhood restaurant The Mar Vista. On the sidewalk is a dog-friendly patio, while the interior features light woods and hanging plants above the tables and booths. The Mar Vista serves a menu of "progressive Los Angeles cuisine," including dishes like diver scallops with pea leek purée, candy stripe beets and squid ink crumbs; pork osso buco; and lamb with curried lentils, peas, fried artichokes and chimichurri.
