Mark's Kitchen Restaurant Review:
A throwback to the '60s, this restaurant in hip downtown Takoma Park offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. You can start your day with Mark's Tofu Breakfast, but we also enjoy the more traditional eggs-over-easy with sausage, home fries and toast. Other choices: pancakes, omelets and waffles. Later in the day, fresh fruit juices and vegetable blends can accompany vegetable curry with rice, Korean short ribs, crab cakes, sesame noodles or a tofu club sandwich. Love hamburgers? This quirky little restaurant offers more than a dozen different versions including turkey and veggie burgers. This is such an unusually eclectic restaurant that it’s worth a trip around the Beltway to come here for a satisfying meal.
