Mary Cassatt Tea Room & Garden Restaurant Review:

What a genteel way to spend time with a friend or introduce children to the delights of high tea. In a sedate room off the lobby of The Rittenhouse Hotel, and through Palladian doors, to a trellised garden, at least six different tea sandwiches are offered with a variety of teas. There are pastries, too, but the fresh scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and jam will win out every time. And if you're in need of something stronger, cocktails, bubbly and a nice Sandeman sherry will fortify.
