Blue by Massa’s Restaurant Review:

Blue, formerly Massa’s, is still owned by the Massa brothers, and it still turns out fresh seafood at lunchtime for downtown office types, as well as strong bar drinks for after-work hours. The midnight blue interior and modern furnishings don’t seem at odds with the stuffed swordfish on the wall or the old-school Gulf Coast menu. Start with seafood-stuffed jalapeños or the fried avocado smothered in lump crab meat and drizzled with aïoli. Move on to the Cajun redfish Pontchartrain or the simply grilled catfish with pico de gallo, red beans and rice. There are also turf offerings, hearty steaks and chops, as well as a few vegetarian platters. Sip a chilled martini paired with a plate of blueberry bread pudding for a perfect bookend to dinner.
