MAST' Restaurant & Drinkery Restaurant Review:

Downtown’s MAST', tucked on a side street, draws lunch and dinner crowds for its creative Neapolitan pizzas baked in a 900-degree oven. It only takes about two minutes for the pies to cook. We like the simply topped margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella, basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Saporita pie is made with broccoli rabe, house-made sausage and Parmigiano Reggiano. The two-level southern Italian restaurant features American staples like lasagna, but why stick to tradition when you can opt for the signature wild boar ragù served over fresh pappardelle? Other standouts include spaghetti with grilled and sautéed vegetables; braided semolina pasta with ricotta; and the meatball trio starter, all of which go best when paired with a Nutella martini, glass of sangría or "Mast" mule. Be sure to get the Nutella pizza, a rich way to end a visit. An outdoor patio is popular during the warmer months, and a bar inside with seating around the pizza oven is busy in cooler seasons.
