THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Meetinghouse Restaurant Review:
As austere and solid as any Shaker design, The Meetinghouse reminds us of what restaurants were like before glitz took over. The wood gleams, lights glow softly and fresh flowers add a note of indulgence to the otherwise unadorned room. The brief menu changes often but could feature a tasty asparagus bisque, roasted duck breast with a red-onion marmalade and various dishes featuring chicken, fish or chops. Surprisingly, desserts outnumber entrées; they include a rhubarb crisp, double-chocolate bourbon bread pudding and a warm banana tart. The reasonably priced wine encompasses the best of Northern California vineyards.
