Amerigo Restaurant Review:
With locations around the state, this local chain offers many of Italian cuisine’s hits, such as a fine five-layer lasagna and chicken Marsala. We also suggest the wood-fired pizzas; choose from a classic margherita to La Carne with sausage, salami, pepperoni and smoked mozzarella. Pasta dishes add variety to the menu. There’s the usual shrimp scampi alongside more interesting specials such as a Nashville-style hot chicken over a creamy fettuccine Alfredo to help cool the palate. The wine list is decent if a little staid; however, the price points work for this sort of casual establishment. For dessert, you could go for the tiramisu, but why not consider the pecan butter crunch cake?
