Anton & Michel Restaurant Review:
The setting still boasts original oils dotting the dining room, the service staff shines, and a courtyard fountain view enchants just as it did twenty years ago (and counting). While the restaurant has preserved its classic preparations of New York steak and grilled salmon, it has made some interesting additions to the menu. The three-course sunset menu served daily from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and the bar menu are both relatively wallet-friendly. Appetizers freshen things up with a shrimp spring roll and Hawaiian tuna tartare. Desserts ring similarly old-school (not that that's a bad thing) and are done well, with bananas Foster, cherries jubilee and crêpes Suzette. The winning wine list focuses on Northern California and France’s Bordeaux region. For dog owners only: servers will gladly escort your four-legged friend to a patio table.
