Bakery Lorraine Restaurant Review:
Talented bakers Anne Ng and Jeremy Mandrell honed their craft at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in California. Their croissants and pains au chocolate, though pricey, are exemplary. It’s hard to choose between savory quiches and sweet tarts featuring luminous fruits; and petite and precious macarons, to-go or to consume in place with good local coffee. Baguettes are part of the repertoire, filling a local void. And sandwiches (the custom-smoked chicken elevates the chicken salad) are meant for grab-and-go convenience.
