This canine-themed spot, with its doggy drinking fountain out front and stuffed animals inside, is a big hit with kids. But adults love it too, for another reason: the food is the best bargain in the neighborhood. The menu features such favorites as cornmeal-crusted fried calamari and pan-fried Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. And they make a mean Cobb salad as well. Finish the meal with a piece of homemade pie or an ice cream sundae. Beer, sodas and coffee are available.
