Bice Ristorante Restaurant Review:
Bice is a small international chain started in Milan by the family matriarch, Beatrice “Bice” Ruggeri, with locations from Mexico City to Johannesburg, featuring a tried and true Northern Italian-inspired menu. There’s antipasti such as prosciutto with melon and fried calamari, zucchini and mushrooms with spicy tomato sauce; salads, fresh pastas and grilled meats and fish. The best tables are in the landscaped patio dripping with bougainvillea from trellises where the business crowd and ladies who lunch gather, imagining they are in a plaza in Italy. The cream and brown dining room gets noisy at night as the Palm Beach elite and celebs gather over drinks and dishes like roast beef tenderloin with spätzle and pappardelle al telefono, appealingly chewy noodles with tomato, basil and mozzarella in cream sauce. End the meal with ricotta cheesecake.
