Biggie's Restaurant Review:
Biggie’s has served steaks, sandwiches, pub grub and lots of pasta to an appreciative crowd of locals for years. The dining rooms are plastered with framed photos, mostly of sports teams, a vibe that carries over to the vintage bar. TVs are a given, as are the usual deep-fried appetizers. But Biggie’s kicks the sports bar fare up a notch: rich ham and potato soup, zesty meatball subs and killer farfalle with chicken livers, reeking happily of garlic. For a bit of local flavor, opt for the steak Mudega, a breaded, charcoal-broiled filet paired with white wine sauce and Provel cheese. Not surprisingly, the dress and attitude are molto casual. No one will bat an eye if you order another beer instead of dessert, but if you’re pining for something sweet, the cheesecake isn’t half bad.
