Bombay Palace Restaurant Review:
Bombay Palace has a fine lunch buffet, boasting a chef’s choice dish each day alongside such traditional standbys as chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. But the real action is at dinner, when you can journey through dozens of dishes laced with enticing spices. We suggest the lamb saag: tender cubes of meat with a rich, garlicky, ginger-spiced spinach sauce. The menu is vegetarian friendly, but you can choose from goat, lamb, seafood and chicken cooked several ways at dinner. Service is prompt and friendly, and the low lighting at night makes this an ideal date spot. As for dessert, the traditional kheer (rice pudding) is always on hand, but at dinnertime there are much more interesting pleasures to be had, such as gajar halwa, a carrot pudding with almonds and pistachios. A small assortment of Indian beers and global wines is available, too.
