Briganti Restaurant Review:
This suburban charmer is a good option among the highly respectable restaurants on the once-sleepy South Pas dining scene. The casual spot has candlelit linen-topped tables that occupy a narrow dining room decorated with sheaves of wheat and modern art. The menu reads rather predictably, but the kitchen applies a refined touch to high quality ingredients. We recommend the velvety burrata and arugula salad, light-as-air gnocchi in a spirited four-cheese sauce, and al dente but creamy wild mushroom risotto. Look for clean, simple renditions of salmon, steak and pastas, plus a solid tiramisu to finish. A short but thoughtful all-Italian wine list is a plus.
